#057 Shame Shame

With the lack of personal space the islanders have, it’s not at all strange for Balachjah-oh to let Kets’zual and June fall asleep on top of him when they’ve only just met. He’s here to guard them while they’re on their spiritual journey, and if becoming a pillow becomes part of that, he doesn’t mind at all. Namai-sal can’t pass up a chance to harass her brother’s life, though.

This is another page that wasn’t in the original plan, but the transition to the next scene was so wonky, I had to do something about it. Plus, more bits with Sister in them are always welcome! She’s horribly neglected in the first run of the script, and that is completely my fault. I am fixing this in a current sweep of editing.

I keep feeling like the end of this chapter is so close, and then I remember that it’s still going to take months to reach. Probably sometime this summer. 🙂
