I had to drop a panel I had originally sketched in there because all the words didn’t fit otherwise. Lots of tweaking along the way, but I kind of knew that would happen. And, of course, not all tattoos were discussed here, nor will all of them be discussed in the follow-up page, but I wanted to hit on some of the key points. I’ve gone back and forth on if this is a page of needless exposition or actually something important, and I’ve concluded that it is needed; it adds some depth to the world, and it will lead into some important things later. In fact, it’s always kind of stunned me that it’s taken this long for that tattoos to really be discussed, since they’re so important to the natives.
