#107 How Rude!
There was a heck of a balance to reach for on this part of the story. This scene was critical in fitting into the proper tone, since this encounter is key to some things moving forward. It had to be the right amount of creepy, yet comical at the same time, which is never easy. We aimed to land a little on the dark side, without destroying the story’s tone. Let’s face it, lots of stories get darker as they go – this one will be no exception – but it’d be quiet a jump in tone right this minute to steer this whole thing into a dark and serious place with this kidnapping.
